Visitor Program

Thank you for your interest in visiting Coranderrk 

Coranderrk welcome's community and not-for-profit organisations, secondary and tertiary educational institutions, government bodies (including local government), and the corporate sector. We offer immersive experiences on Country, focusing on the history, truth-telling, and ecology of Coranderrk.

We host groups up to 30 participants, on Thursdays, with limited availability on Tuesdays.

Program Options

Coranderrk’s History, Artifacts, and Cultural Awareness Training - delivered by Jacqui Wandin 

Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • 12:45 PM: Arrive at Coranderrk and meet at the Visitors Centre

  • 1:00 PM: Welcome and introduction to Coranderrk’s history. Weather permitting, we'll take a tour along the Coranderrk panels.

  • 2:00 PM: Tea break and a yarn

  • 2:15 PM: Cultural awareness session, specific to the Woi-Wurrung people and language group

  • 3:00 PM: Finish

Cost: $1,500

Indigenous Land Management, Bush Foods, and Cultural Heritage Tour - delivered by Uncle Dave Wandin 
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • 9:45 AM: Arrive at Coranderrk and meet at the Visitors Centre

  • 10:00 AM: Welcome (smoking optional)

  • 10:30 AM: Walk on Country tour begins

  • 12:30 PM: Gather back at the Visitors Centre for tea and a yarn with Uncle Dave

Cost: $2,000
Optional Smoking Ceremony: $300 

Note: During hot summer days, this program will primarily take place in a classroom setting.  

 

As Coranderrk is operated by a small group of dedicated volunteers, we ask that you allow ample time for processing and confirmation of your booking (a minimum of 8 weeks). All inquiries are reviewed and confirmed during our monthly meetings. To help secure your booking, we recommend providing a list of potential dates.

 

Important Information

Accessibility: The Indigenous Land Management, Bush Foods, and Cultural Heritage Tour involves a 1.5-hour walk over uneven ground. If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know, and we can arrange a discussion to explore options. Please note that Coranderrk does not currently offer wheelchair-accessible bathroom facilities.
